Female-forward organisation More Than Equal hopes to find the first female Formula 1 Drivers’ World Champion within 10 years.

A possible new all-female racing series backed by Formula 1 can only be a positive thing for women in motorsport, according to W Series driver Jessica Hawkins.

Formula 1 is planning to introduce its own female-only championship as early as 2023 – and sources insist it will not be a direct rival to the W Series.
